Welcome to the Center for Academic Excellence (CAE) and the University Writing Center (UWC)!
Subject tutoring, academic coaching, and writing support are available at no additional cost for all Drew students. Appointments are available in-person or online (through WCOnline or Zoom). All sessions are synchronous (i.e., you meet in real-time) and run on EST.
1. Select a Schedule
- CAE Subject Tutoring Fall 2024 - Select this schedule to search for a subject/class-specific tutor who can support you in content learning and quiz/exam preparation. You can also find academic coaches on the CAE schedule as well.
- University Writing Center Fall 2024 - Select this schedule to search for a writing specialist who can support you in any genre of writing and at any stage in the writing process. You can also find academic coaches on the UWC schedule as well.
- Academic Coaches are available on either schedule!
2. Schedule Your Appointment
- Use the LIMIT TO list to narrow your search to your required course or focus.
- By Appointment Only (BAO) appointments must be made 24 hours in advance or the available time is removed.
3. Your Appointment
- Arrive for your appointment on time. Be sure to check your tutor's bio to see if you are meeting on the WCOnline platform or via Zoom.
- Bring all needed materials, including practice problems, writing drafts, assignment guidelines, schedules, etc.
- Be prepared to interact! All sessions are collaborative and conversational.
